Cappadocia Area Tourism Investors Association (KAPYAD) has been established in 2023 by a group of tourism investors, who are all leaders in their respective fields, operating in Cappadocia, which spans an area with borders defined in the Cappadocia Area Law No. 7174.

KAPYAD brings together leading investors, including operators of hotels, hot air balloon firms, restaurants, carpet stores, pottery ateliers and vineyards as some of the key drivers of tourism in Cappadocia, around a shared vision and mission for the first time.

The primary objective of the Association is to elevate the position of “Cappadocia” brand in the national and international arena and to improve its competitiveness. For this purpose, the Association aims to partner with public institutions, starting with the Cappadocia Area Presidency, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) as well as local administrations, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations and research institutions and work in collaboration to build on the value of Cappadocia as a brand, offer solutions for the challenges faced by the tourism investors in the region, increase the number of high quality tourism investments that create added value, and formulate policies for sustainable development in the region.
